COOKIE POLICY
The purpose of our Cookie Policy is to explain our principles when it comes to the collection, processing and storage of your information. This policy specifically describes how our partners and users of our services set cookies and the options you have for controlling them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data in text files that are stored on your computer or other devices when you load a website on your browser. They are commonly used to “remember” you and your preferences for a single visit (via a “session cookie”) or multiple subsequent visits (using a “persistent cookie”). They provide a consistent and efficient experience for visitors and perform basic functions such as allowing users to register and remain logged in. Cookies may be set by the site you visit (known as “first-party cookies”) or by third parties. Including those that serve content on the website or provide advertising or analytics services (“third-party cookies”).
Both websites and HTML emails may contain other tracking technologies such as “web beacons” or “pixels”. These are typically small transparent images that provide us with statistics for similar purposes such as cookies. Although they are not stored identically on your computer, they are often used in conjunction with cookies. If you disable cookies, the functionality of web beacons will be restricted, but they will still be loaded regardless.
How we use cookies?
We use cookies for various purposes. Some cookies are required for technical reasons, some provide a personalized experience for both visitors and registered users, and some allow the display of advertisements from selected third-party networks. Some of these cookies may be set when a page loads or when a visitor takes a certain action.
Çerezleri nereye yerleştiririz
We set cookies in a number of different locations across our services. These include:
- Our website www.asistbt.com.tr
- Admin dashboards of our websites, such as calypso and wp-admin.
- Websites hosted for our users.
- Websites that use our plugins (e.g. Jetpack).
- Our e-mails.
Managing Cookies
Visitors may restrict the use of cookies or prevent them altogether. Most browsers provide ways to manage cookie behavior, such as their storage duration, through built-in functions or third-party plug-ins. Please note that if you disable cookies, some features of our service may not function properly.
For more information on how to manage and delete cookies, visit info@asistbt.com.tr For more details on options regarding the use of your web browsing activity for interest-based advertising, you can visit the following websites:
You can also choose to limit tracking on a mobile device.
You can download the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on or disable Google Analytics.
Our Internal Analysis Tool
In order to better understand how our services are used, we monitor certain user activities with our products, including page views and clicks on any link used when administering a site through our dashboards.
We use this information to improve our products, ensure more personalized marketing, personalize your experience and for other purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
You can disable our analytics program through your user settings. Note that disabling does not disable the functionality of the actions we track – e.g. if you publish a post, we will still have a record of it (no worries); but in case of an event or action occurring after disabling, we will not possess other data associated with the relevant action or event in the Analytics tool.
Consent for Advertising Cookies on Our Websites
You may see a “cookie banner” on our websites and dashboards. When you are visiting our site, we do not set or allow our advertising partners to set cookies that are used to show you targeted ads before you click “I accept.” Upon such consent, we and our advertising partners may set advertising cookies on the website you visit and on our other websites, dashboards and services that we use to show you ads about our various ASİST products. We’ll periodically show you the banner in case you change your mind.
Consent and Options for Advertisements on Our Users’ Websites Through Our Advertising Program
You may see a “cookie banner” on our users’ websites, especially if you reside in Turkey. If so, our advertising program will not set or allow our advertising partners to set cookies used to show you targeted ads before you accept them.
Upon such consent, we and our advertising partners may set third-party advertising cookies to show you personalized advertisements on the website you are visiting and all websites on the WordPress.com network. You will know when a site is on the WordPress.com network since it will have a WordPress.com subdomain (e.g. example.wordpress.com). For other websites participating in our advertising program, your consent is only for personalized advertisements on the particular site you visit.
Other Options:
We also set a cookie that helps us understand how visitors interact with the websites that participate in our advertising program. Visitors can opt out of the use of this information by visiting this link (the opt-out will be processed immediately without any steps for confirmation). When you disable it, we replace the unique value of that cookie with an opt-out value. Opting out works for all the websites in our advertising program. If you opted out by accident or you want to opt in again, you can do so by visiting this link. Please note that this option is browser specific, so if you use a different device or browser or clear your cookies, you will have to repeat the process.

Security | We use these cookies to help identify and prevent potential security risks. |
Analysis and Performance | Performance cookies collect information about how users interact with websites, including what pages are most visited, as well as other analytical data. We use these details to improve the way our websites work and understand how users interact with them. |
Advertisements | These cookies are used to show relevant advertisements to visitors who use our services or visit websites that we host or provide, as well as to understand and report on the effectiveness of the advertisements served on our websites. They track details such as the number of unique visitors, the number of times certain ads were viewed, and the number of clicks the ads received. They are also used to create user profiles, including showing you ads based on the products you view or the actions you take on our websites (and others). These are determined by ASİST and trusted third-party networks, and are often persistent. |
Third Party / Embedded Content | Sites hosted on WordPress.com use different third-party applications and services to enhance the experience of visitors. These include social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter (via the use of share buttons) or embedded content from YouTube and Vimeo. Cookies can be set by these third parties and used by them to track your online activity. We have no direct control over the information collected by these cookies. |
User Sites
In addition to the cookies set on our own sites, we use cookies for our Site Statistics feature. This shows the number of unique visitors to a website, as well as the number of visitors from specific geographic locations. A visitor is recognized when we see a user or browser for the first time in a given period.
